Divorced? Separated? You don’t have to go through it alone. Find help, discover hope, and experience healing. Emmanuel Baptist Church offers hope for those who are hurting due to separation or divorce. Our current DivorceCare group meeting is over, but DivorceCare will start again on Thursday, September 11, 2008 at 7:00 PM. When you come to DivorceCare you will find a small support group of others who are also experiencing separation and divorce. You can interact with these people and you will find that there are others who understand what you are feeling and who can offer you encouragement. It will help you learn to deal with the pain of the past and help you look forward to rebuilding your life. DivorceCare features biblical teaching for recovering from divorce and separation.

A fully staffed nursery is provided as well as classes for children from ages 4-teens so feel free to bring your children. All children’s workers have been fully trained and screened before they are allowed to work with your child(ren). Emmanuel Baptist Church presents Free Parenting Seminars starting January 6, 2008, at 6:00 PM. These Parenting Seminars are held at 2435 Lake Road (Rt. 19) in Clarkson, NY. They start at 6:00 PM (EST). The seminars are free. There may be workbooks which can be purchased; however, if you cannot afford one, we will gladly give you one at no charge. We have a nursery for ages 0-3 year, JOY Club for ages 4-12, and ICHTHUS Club for Teen.

We desire to see the development of healthy families. Our family is God’s greatest asset to us. For this reason God provides the instruction needed to raise our children. It is for this reason that have started these parenting seminars. The instruction comes from the Word of God. There will be open discussion to assist each participant in learning these principles and to encourage each parent. There will be a fully staffed nursery for children 0-3 years. For child 4-12 years old, there is JOY club and for the teens we will have ICHTHUS club. During these clubs the young people will be taught who God is and how they can serve and relate to Him as well as their parents.
